Fans of North Indian cuisine can now dine in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA folk who crave North Indian specialities can now visit the newly-opened D’Tandoor restaurant at Ayer@8 in Precint 8.

Overlooking the Putrajaya lake, patrons can not only enjoy delicious North Indian food but also Malaysian and Arab cuisine while taking in the beautiful view of the majestic Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin mosque across the lake.

D’Tandoor Food Industries Sdn Bhd managing director Datuk Abdul Malik Abdullah said this was the 17th restaurant opened by the company.

“The restaurant also operates through franchise, and we have outlets in Australia, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia,” he said.

At a starting price of RM18, Abdul Malik said it was well worth it as the portions were huge.

The restaurant has at least 20 types of naan bread and their speciality dish is the 24-hour roasted whole leg of lamb called Raan Srikandi, which can serve six to eight persons.

The Putrajaya outlet is currently offering a special discount of 57% until Sept 16 in conjunction with Merdeka celebrations.

The restaurant was officially opened by Putrajaya Corporation president Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat.
