MALAYSIA has the second highest number of road fatalities in South-East Asia, according to figures from the World Health Organisation (WHO).
We record an average of 25 deaths out of 100,000 people. Only Thailand has a higher rate of 38.1, while Singapore has the lowest with 5.1. The regional average is 17.9.
