Chek Hup continues to expand after launching Ipoh White Coffee in 2000

Chek Hup Sdn Bhd managing director Joseph Tan Huang Kew holding up the company's latest offering, the Chek Hup Black Mandheling Coffee. Sold as filter bag sachets with rock sugar sticks, it is the first instant gourmet coffee to hit the local market.

IPOH is the birthplace of Chek Hup 3in1 Ipoh White Coffee.

It is also well known for Funny Mountain Soya Bean, a tiny stall in the city centre often seen with an endless line of customers and cars outside.
