KUCHING: Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud has ordered for immediate cloud seeding operations to be carried out in several areas in the state that are facing water supply shortage due to the drought.
Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said the matter was raised by Taib when he and his wife Toh Puan Ragad Kurdi Taib attended the Aidilfitri open house at her residence here yesterday.
