THE smart parking gadget (SPG) system, which was initially supposed to be in use on Penang island by May, is finally expected to be implemented by early next year.
Penang Municipal Council Financial Management Committee alternate chairman Joseph Ng Soon Siang said barring any unforeseen circumstances, he hoped the gadget would be put to use by the beginning of next year.
