Call for a more walkable suburb

Xxxxxxxxx: Pulau Tikus assemblyman Yap Soo Huey suggests that connectivity and pedestrians traffic lights need to be provided at Pulau Tikus at a press conference.

THE Penang Municipal Council should improve connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists in Pulau Tikus as the residents are still facing some challenges following the implementation of the one-way traffic system there.

Pulau Tikus assemblyman Yap Soo Huey said other challenges were the sharp rise of land price and rental as well as the ageing population in the constituency.
