DBKL steps up anti-Aedes enforcement at construction sites


KUALA LUMPUR City Hall (DBKL) has stepped up enforcement to prevent construction sites from turning into mosquito breeding grounds.

DBKL’s Health and Environment Department director Dr Hayati Abdullah said a team specifically in charge of monitoring active and abandoned construction sites has been keeping close tabs on construction sites in Kuala Lumpur to ensure they did not become breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
