Impressive Dragons qualify for ACT semis

Frenz United Malaysia maintained their winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Myanmar Academy FC to join defending champions Chonburi FC and PVF Vietnam in the semifinals of the under-16 Asia Champions Trophy.

However, coach S. Balachandran ’s Harimau Muda squad face the grim prospect of being eliminated from the tournament after they slumped to a 2-1 defeat against the Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City last week. That result which could see close rivals Frenz United Indonesia bulldozing their way through from the back door after this week’s final and crucial group matches.
