Developers welcome CM's plan to maintain land leases

KUCHING: The Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) welcomes the news that Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem is mulling over maintaining land leases after conversion or sub-division.

“We agree and support the Chief Minister’s vision in adopting a more mature and equitable approach to landowners’ rights in order to move forward and advance Sarawak into a developed state,” it said in a statement yesterday.
