POLLUTION in the Batu Maung area caused by an ongoing housing project and works on an elevated highway linking it to the second Penang bridge will be given priority by the state government.

Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin said the state will soon meet with the housing developer, whose blasting work to level a hill had caused the pollution, to discuss ways to minimise the pollution and damage to the environment.
