Police chief’s daughter ties the knot the traditional way

THE usually quiet Perak Royal Malaysian Police Air Wing Unit training base was a bustling sight recently, with the main hall decked lavishly with colourful ribbons, white cloth and lots of flowers.

Police officers of all ranks from throughout the state gathered at the training base to celebrate the wedding of state police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani’s daughter, Anis Adilah Acryl Sani and Ismail Mohd Aman.

Dressed in regal maroon, the couple were escorted in a procession towards the main hall as soon as they arrived.

Before entering, both were seated and surrounded by family members and guests as two youths entertained them with a silat performance.

Apart from dining in the main hall, guests were also invited to feast on more food that was placed outside in a hawker stall theme.

Cendol and ice cream booths were also set up to add to the delectable choices of food served.

Also present to witness the joyous occasion were Datuk Bandar Datuk Harun Rawi and members of the press.

Anis Adilah and Ismail, both 26, were wedded on May 3.
