NEWLY appointed George Town OCPD Asst Comm Mior Faridalatrash Wahid and Public Order and Traffic chief Supt Ibrahim Abu Bakar have been given the tough task of ensuring zero incident during the Bukit Gelugor by-election.

Penang police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Abdul Rahim Hanafi said the state’s new police officers had to ensure peace and order from the nomination day on May 12 until polling day on May 25.
