Four-car monorail trains to debut in third quarter

The first two units of KL Monorail's new four-car trains are currently undergoing final testing sessions at the KL Monorail Depot in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

RAPID Rail Sdn Bhd will be introducing four-car monorail trains in stages, with the first two sets expected to be running in the third quarter this year.

Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Khairani Mohamed said the first three sets of the new trains were already undergoing final tests prior to being commissioned into service.
