Harimau Muda C let down by poor finishing in entertaining tie

KUANTAN PORT secured their third win in the FAM Cup competition when they defeated Harimau Muda C 2-0 at the Maybank Sports Complex in Bangi.

Kuantan, coached by former international Tajuddin Mohd Nor — who played for Pahang in the 80s — deserved the win as they played an attacking game and defended well. Their goals, one in each half, came from captain Mohamad Helmi Abdullah in the 30th minute and Muhammad Hariz Fazrin Ahmad Nazri two minutes from time.
