HK-based firm acquired for China expansion plans

KUCHING: Smartag Solutions Bhd has acquired a Hong Kong-based company as a springboard to expand the group’s business to China.

LEYS International Ltd, an investment holding company, owns Guangzhou LEYS Information Technology (IT) Ltd whose intended principal activity is to venture into food traceability business in China, Smartag said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
