IT WAS a final befitting the last event of the 2013 Modesliga Badminton League (Subang Zone) season when New Gen Hercules fought hard against Team Racqueteer to come back from a 2-0 deficit to clinch the trophy 3-2 in a nail-biting match.
Team Racqueteer pulled away for a 2-0 lead by scoring wins in the men’s doubles and veteran men’s doubles categories, leaving the team one match shy of whitewashing their opponents, but it was not to be.
