KUCHING: The Sarawak government is committed to successful resettlement schemes for the affected indigenous communities displaced by its hydro dam projects but it will not bow down to outrageous demands made by certain quarters.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said the state government deemed successful resettlement of the directly affected communities as a crucial component in the success of its Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).
