SIBU: A security guard was sentenced to three years in prison by the Sessions Court here for assaulting a man using a machete.
Sessions Court judge Indra Ayub, in convicting the accused under Section 326 of the Penal Code, also ordered the accused, Michael Teo, 41, to pay RM5,000 in default six months imprisonment as compensation to the victim, Belanchai Gelayan, 57.
