A MOTION submitted by Chong Chieng Jen (DAP-Kota Sentosa) on Sarawak’s position and rights under the Malaysia Agreement was dismissed on technical grounds in the Sarawak Legislative Assembly.
Speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar said it was not within the meaning of Standing Order 15, which stipulates that a motion must be definite, urgent and of public importance.
