Hornbill Walk in Miri today


MIRI: The Malaysian Nature Society, Miri Chapter and the pro tem committee of Piasau Camp Nature Park Society (PCNPS) is holding the 4th Hornbill Walk today.

The walk at Piasau Camp starts at 4.30pm from the former Tenby International School.

Meanwhile, a three-day exhibition held on Sept 14 to 16 received overwhelming response from the public and tourists.

According to PCNPS chairman Datuk Sebastian Ting, a total of 3,020 people from all walks of life, including foreigners, signed the petition forms at the event.

He said the society was targeting to collect 10,000 signatures in a bid to get the state government to convert Piasau Camp into a nature park.
