Restaurateurs in Ipoh are taking precautions to deter robberies

Leave a light on: Keeping a restaurant or a coffeeshop bright is useful to deter burglars from breaking into the premises.

AFTER losing RM8,000 worth of goods and cash in a break-in two years ago, Chong Poh Oon, 40, has stepped up security measures at his coffee shop.

It was a lesson learned and Chong, who operates Fooh Singh café in Ipoh Garden East, has been extra vigilant ever since the incident happened.
