IPOH STARWALK

Today is the last day to register for the international category of the Ipoh International Starwalk 2013. The category is open to those aged 20 and above who are able to finish the 10km course in 50 minutes. Malaysians are also eligible to take part. A total of RM10,000 in prize money is up for grabs for the top 10 winners in the category, with the winner and runner-up in the Men’s group getting RM2,000 and RM1,500 respectively while the winner and runner-up in the Women’s group will get RM1,500 and RM1,000 respectively. The registration fee is RM20. Online registration and payment can be made at http://sites.thestar.com.my/starwalk while walk-in registration can be done at The Star’s Ipoh office at No. 8-10, Lorong Chung Thye Phin, from 9am to 5pm. Registration for the 10km competition Malaysian category and 7km non-competition category has closed. The walk will be flagged off at Stadium Indera Mulia from 7am on June 16.
