Rebates for smartphones

ELECTRONICS and home appliance retail giant Senheng, recently announced that it has been selected as one of the authorised agents for the Government’s new “Youth Communication Package” programme.

Introduced in December, with the cooperation of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the programme targets youths in hopes of increasing their use of smartphones and to encourage them to surf the Internet. The Government has allocated RM300mil for this programme to help benefit 1.5 million youths.
