ALOR SETAR: Neighbourhood Residential Community (Kawasan Rukun Tetangga or KRT) plays an important role in national unity and integration in the community, said Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Chor Chee Heung.
He said in Alor Setar there were about 17 units of KRT established under the parliamentary areas and each played an important role.
