THE state government should control foreign ownership of heritage buildings in Penang, said state Barisan Youth chief Oh Tong Keong.
He claimed that foreign companies, mainly European and Singaporean firms, owned 83 of the 120 heritage buildings in the inner city of George Town from Europe and Singapore.
