KOTA SAMARAHAN: Competency standard of social workers in the state will be further enhanced following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Welfare Department and Universiti Sarawak Malaysia (Unimas).
The agreement covers matters related to the professional training and education of social workers as well as research collaboration and consultancy activities related to social welfare between the two parties.
