Students’ take on public policy

Their say: A file photo of participants in the inaugural Malaysia Public Policy Competition (MPPC) 2011. It is great that Malaysian students have platforms such as the MPPC for them to share their ideas productively and constructively.

I DON’T know what you did last weekend, but I found myself at a rather interesting event — the Malaysian Public Policy Competition 2012 (MPPC) at the National Institute of Public Administration (Intan) in Kuala Lumpur.

For those of you unfamiliar with this event, the MPPC is a series of debates and seminars covering the state of education policies in Malaysia jointly organised by International Council of Malaysian Scholars and Associates (ICMS) and INTAN.
