Taylor’s University will host world-renowned author and mind map inventor Tony Buzan, at a two-day seminar from Sept 11 to 12 to feature his latest book, The Most Important Graph In The World.
Due to keen interest from the public during Buzan’s previous visit to Malaysia, which was also hosted by the Taylor’s Business School, the seminar will be open to audiences wanting a chance to hear the agile 70-year-old speaker help individuals and businesses achieve success through application of principles related to human memory.
Through The Most Important Graph In The World, Buzan’s strategies have been widely adopted by orators, Olympic athletes and international business magnates whom are now key leaders in their respective fields.
“In an environment where ‘doing more with less’ is increasingly crucial, Buzan’s techniques are more and more relevant, especially within corporate organisations where individual and team communication is critical.
“By building leaders that are equipped with the right tools to drive success, organisations are bound to grow,” said Taylor’s Business School dean Vinitha Guptan.
Buzan intends to help his audience understand and improve their memory to maximise their potential.
By doing so, he aids participants to effectively put together marketing and public relations strategies, deliver strong presentations, speeches, develop creativity, raise social and emotional IQ, and maximise time.
With over 40 years of experience in helping people achieve success, Buzan will present key highlights with topics covering, “Creativity and Innovating Thinking of the Intelligent Company” and “The Brain and Success: Understanding the Most Important Graph in the World”, based on his latest book.
“Your memory is your life. If you lose it, you lose your life. Most Important Graphs (MIG) reviews the secrets of memory formula.
“It helps you to improve your memory of anything, including people, names and faces, numbers, dates, poetry, lists and examination materials.
“It also helps you live a memorable life. Anyone can benefit from this seminar, from a busy executive to students at any level and anyone looking for general self-improvement and development.
“The people and organisations that understand and employ the power of this graph are leaders in their respective fields.
“You learn how US President Barack Obama compels his audiences to sit up and listen; how Richard Branson, head of the Virgin empire, never fails to create a dramatic and remarkable impact whenever he launches a new product or service; and how Sir Steven Redgrave became the ultimate Olympic athlete, winning five consecutive gold medals in rowing.
“Corporate leaders can use the MIG to engage thousands of people in their vision and make their team the best around. Small business owners can use it to create an experience for their customers that will have them raving about the service to their friends.
“Teachers or trainers can use it to create learning engagements that will change people’s lives. Last but not least, sales people can use the graph to make customers and clients flock to them over and over again,” added Buzan.
Taylor’s Business School is offering Tony Buzan’s “Achieving Success Through The Most Important Graph in the World” seminar at RM2,600 for individuals and group rates from RM2,450 to RM2,200.
