SMK Bukit Mewah emerge champs in national-level debating championship in Labuan

NEGRI Sembilan’s SMK Bukit Mewah all-girls team defied the odds recently to win the Datuk Wira Dr Abdul Rahman Arshad national-level ala-Parliament English debate held in Labuan.

The school’s team comprising Komathy Ganeish, Nandini Kumarasamy, Stephanie Liew, Edania Ridzmann and Woo Jia Yi created history when they defeated opponents from schools which have traditionally been powerhouses in English debates.
