FOOTWEAR brand Xes introduced its ambassadors Malaysian actress/singer Soo Wincci and Singaporean entertainer Rahayu Ridwan at its 20th anniversary celebration held at the KL Festival City Mall, Setapak recently.
Its chief executive officer Jason Tan said Xes was collaborating with the talented artistes to promote the brand as well as the region’s entertainment industry.
“We will assist to promote both artistes in their business activities and we hope becoming our brand ambassadors will help cultivate more awareness for new and aspiring entertainers,” he said.
Tan said: “The brand had a humble beginning. Now we have more than 200 employees and every reason to go to the next level.
“Customers and business partners have inspired us to enhance the brand.
“We are improving the products through further research and development and also empowering the brand with excellent services.
“Xes which is wholly owned by Shellys Marketing Sdn Bhd is looking forward to making more affordable and comfortable shoes for the local and international market,” he said.
Soo, who is also Miss Malaysia/World 2008, and Rahayu, who is a reality TV show champion, performed a few numbers at the celebration, much to the delight of the guests and shoppers.
Shoppers and patrons of the mall were also spoilt for choice as a special promotion was given by the footwear retailer at the celebration.
The special promotion allowed customers to buy the second pair of shoes at only RM1 during the two- day event.
At the event, Xes also presented tokens of its contribution to two charity organisations – Majlis Kebajikan dan Pembangunan Masyarakat Selangor Malaysia and Shepard Centre Malaysia.
The brand contributed shoes worth RM13,000 in total to the two organisations.
