Dedicated agent of The Star dies

BUTTERWORTH: R. Vartharaju Naidu (pic), a longtime newspaper agent for The Star since its inception in 1971, has died.

The 69-year old passed away at his residence in Taman Senangan, Teluk Air Tawar, at 8.15pm on Tuesday. He leaves behind wife V. Indrani, 66, five children and 11 grandchildren.
