THE Muda Agriculture Development Authori-ty (Mada) believes it can increase the padi production from five tonnes per hectare per season (2009 statistics) to eight tonnes by 2020.
Mada deputy general manager (agriculture) Datuk Roslee Baharom said the aim was in line with the Government’s call to increase the country’s padi production.
