JOHOR BARU: Thousands of devotees gathered to witness and participate in a special chariot procession or ratham held recently in Masai here in conjunction with Thaipusam.
The event which is also known as the ‘procession of lights’ included a route of about 4km and was aimed at allowing those who could not make it to the temple for Thaipusam a chance to pray to the gods.
