Charity concept to make a difference

MALACCA: The corporate philanthrophy of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia and the financial generosity of local businesswoman Nur Azreena Abdullah etched a big and purposeful difference in the lives of ‘special children’ of Malacca’s Hopehaven Centre and St. Francis Institution’s primary school enrolment.

Established in 1990 to create, find and support programmes that directly improve the health and well being of Malaysian children in the areas of education, health and welfare, RHMC set up a Ronald McDonald Sensory Room facility at Banda Hilir’s Hopehaven Centre, which comes under the purview of the 1945-founded local Salvation Army.
