AN Opposition assemblyman’s repeated query about the state government’s claim that it had eradicated hardcore poverty led to the former and a state exco member accusing each other of being power crazy.
Datuk Jasmin Mohamed (BN-Sungai Dua) had interjected State Health, Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh’s winding up speech, questioning the rationale of a fund for the hardcore poor if there was no longer a need.
