RM1.2mil raised for Chinese schools

KUCHING: Some RM1.2mil was raised by Carlsberg Malaysia for the building fund of four Chinese schools in the state through its recent “I Love Chinese Education” charity concerts here and in Bintulu.

At the charity show here, the fundraising committee of Chung Hua Middle School No 1, 2 and 4 announced a collection of more than RM679,618, exceeding the target of RM500,000.
