Origami-inspired folding bikes

BICYCLE specialty store Folding Bike Trading had launched a new range of folding bikes from the ‘ORi’ brand at their showroom in at Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya recently.

Scores of bicycle lovers attended the event where some of the latest high-tech bikes were previewed.

The store’s owner Well Tan said ORi bikes was inspired by the Japanese traditional art of Origami and the brand had used the concept to create its unique designs.

“ORi bikes are designed by award-winning designer Jon Whyte, a former Formula 1 engineer from the United Kingdom.

“The stylish and functional ORi folding bikes yields an unprecedented experience of performance and practicality,” said Tan.

The ORi bikes, she added, are an alternative solution for the environmentally-minded commuter who wants a greener option for transportation.
