Khalid: Strive to emulate Mokhtar

SELANGOR Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim wants more professional footballers from the state to emulate the legendary Mokhtar Dahari.

“There was a time when Selangor was the backbone of the national team as eight to nine of the players were from this state,” said Khalid, who is also the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) president, during a meet and greet session with newly crowned Premier League champions PKNS FC yesterday.
