Whatever the new State Assembly complex might look like to you, there is no question about its significance to Sarawak and its people. Still, public apathy is obvious, judging by the number of people who had taken the time to witness the current sitting.
THE law-making chamber at the State Legislative Assembly Complex sits on rarefied air, quite literally. The chamber is atop a six-floor-high atrium, supported by nine columns that taper upon themselves to form a skeletal dome.
