VISITORS to the Matang Museum located in the vici-nity of Jebong, Perak, will not only learn about the story of Malay chieftain Ngah Ibrahim who carried the title of Orang Kaya Menteri Paduka Tuan but will also be walking through major past events that happened in the Larut, Matang and Selama district.
Ngah Ibrahim was the son of Long Jaafar, the first Malay, who opened tin mines in Larut, Matang, and Selama areas in 1840.
