KUCHING: Road users going back to their hometowns and villages are advised to observe the traffic rules as the risk of traffic accidents during Gawai is high.
A study by the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety (Miros) revealed that the number of road accidents in Sara-wak is about four times higher during Gawai compared to non-festive days.
