THE Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) is calling for tender for the privatisation of the Pasar Desa Ria in Sungai Ara and the setting up of kiosks on the Komtar overhead pedestrian bridge.
MPPP Public Health Standing Committee alternate chairman Ong Ah Teong said the council hoped that the privatisation move would bring life to the two deserted spots.
