WHAT started off as a hobby for Sharifah Zuriah Aljeffri 35 years ago has become a commitment to transfer onto paper her feelings of things happening around her.
Zuriah started learning Chinese brush painting from Malaysian artist Anthony Sum in 1976 so that she had something to do in her free time besides napping.
