State presents awards to past and current sportsmen and sportswomen

PAST and present sport greats dominated the list of recipients of the Sarawak Youth and Sports Icon Award 2010.

They include current athletes and those of yesteryears who featured for the country in international meets and multi-sports meets like the Olympic Games, Asian Games and SEA Games. Leading the pack was national diving queen Pandelela Rinong who won the gold medal in diving in last year’s Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
