In the spirit of giving and sharing, Alamanda Shopping Centre hosted a Christmas party for 39 young ones from House of Joy in Puchong.

Alam, winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” and Wakaka Crew, presented dance routines to entertain the children and taught them a few moves.

The children then took over the stage to present two dance numbers, before enjoying more performance from the Malaysia Yo Yo Club and Duncan Drew.

Alamanda presented electrical gifts worth RM10,000 to the home while Carrefour and KFC sponsored goodie bags, KFC meals and bus transportation for the kids.

The children and guests were later treated to a Thai buffet lunch at Chakri Xpress before watching The Chronicles of Narnia — the Voyage of the Dawn Treader at GSC Alamanda.

The event was organised to spread and share the spirit of festivities with the less fortunate so that they too could revel in the spirit of Christmas.

Alamanda marketing manager Paulin Lim expressed her delight in being able to share the day with the children and said this was one of the ways the shopping centre could share the spirit of Christ-mas.

“Alamanda is privileged to host this day out for the children and we hope that we are able to bring joy and love to the children. It gives us great pleasure to see the children’s faces light up,” she said.
