Former minister takes over from Kuala Lumpur mayor

AN INTIMATE gathering of Kuala Lumpur Tourism Association (KLTA) members celebrated its new patron, former Culture, Arts and Tourism Minister Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir who is taking over from Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Fuad Ismail.

“Since my resignation from the Cabinet, I have received many other offers but this was one I really wanted to do as it is for the benefit of Kuala Lumpur,” Abdul Kadir said, adding one could not go wrong doing tourism.
