Malacca’s Infant Jesus Convent school celebrates 150th anniversary

MALACCA: The first girl’s school in the state – the Infant Jesus Convent – will celebrate its 150th founding anniversary with a four-day event programme beginning in mid October.

The highlights include a thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration at the convent’s old chapel, mini concert and cultural presentations at the primary convent quadrangle, reunion of religious community members, benefactors and supporters linked with the local convent at the Taman Bakti Community House .
