Bridge now a shortcut to danger

HARDLY a month after the Kuala Dipang suspension bridge collapse in Kampar, Perak, claimed three young lives, another bridge along Sungai Tua in Kampung Laksmana, Batu Caves, could face the same fate.

Although the Sungai Tua bridge is unsafe, many motorcyclists and pedestrians are still using it, risking their lives just to save a few ringgit.
