Hang Tuah Jaya for municipal council

MALACCA: The Malacca Government hopes the Cabinet will agree to the proposal to upgrade the state’s smart administration centre, dubbed Hang Tuah Jaya, into a municipality before the end of this year.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said the steering committee on public service had, on March 12, approved the state government’s application to turn the town into a municipality.
