Kolam competition attracts 17 teams from 21 varsities

DEEPAVALI music filled the air as 17 teams from 21 universities tried to outdo each other in the Colours of Kolam Inter-Universities competition held at the Mines Shopping Fair recently.

The kolam contest generated quite an interest among the shoppers from all walks of life who watched the contestants draw creative skeletal frames before filling the empty space with coloured grains or rice.
